The new album has earned Thirsty Curses praise from SPIN, Glide Magazine, Rock n Roll Globe, Chorus FM & many others. Thirsty Curses is a Raleigh, NC–based band led by songwriter Wilson Getchell that has been active since 2017. Known for their eclectic blend of alternative rock, punk energy, and alt-country sensibilities, the band pairs literate, introspective lyrics with inventive instrumentation. Thirsty Curses is recommended for fans of The Replacements, Jeff Rosenstock, The Beach Boys, Elvis Costello, Queen, The Old 97s and Ween. Thirsty Curses is as prolific as it is eclectic, having released loads of material since 2017,: Frank-N-Stein (2026), Music Is a Scam (2025), To the Ends of the Earth (2022), Thirsty Curses (2019), All Shook Up (2018), & Holy Moly (2017), & a handful of standalone singles including "Punk Rock Ruined My Life", "I Never Learn" (2023), & "The Goonies Are Good Enough" (2026). In July 2023, Thirsty Curses released THROUGH THE DAZE (Fake Chapter Records), a retrospective best-of, exclusively available on vinyl. Thirsty Curses' "Starting to Remember How Much I Forgot" falls somewhere ""...between Graham Parker and The Rumour’s Heat Treatment and Uncle Tupelo’s Anodyne." -SPIN Magazine "...an act too good to be this anonymous" -The Big Takeover
