M.A.D.E.S (Make A Different Electronic Sound) is the name used by French producer Rémi Buriez from Lille, France. M.A.D.E.S is known for blending synthwave, dark synth, and orchestral touches, creating immersive and atmospheric soundscapes that captivate listeners. Active since the mid-2010s, M.A.D.E.S began his journey producing electro house before evolving his sound towards synthwave and darker, cinematic tones. His music draws influences from retro electronic sounds and film scores, as showcased in his EP Return (2016) and full-length albums Motor (2018) and Arrival (2020). M.A.D.E.S' breakout moment came with the release of Return, an EP that quickly garnered attention in the synthwave scene. The track "NightKiller" from his debut album Motor (2018) highlights his signature style, blending haunting melodies with powerful synth-driven energy. His second album Arrival (2020) continues to build on this distinct musical identity.
