Ben Abraham

Hi. I'm Ben and here are the cliff notes on my music :) I've been doing this a while. I spent my early years being a fully independent artist in Australia where I'm from. I crowd funded my first album 'Sirens' and then signed to Secretly Canadian who released it in 2016. For a minute I felt like one of the cool kids cos they were such a cool indie label. Then I signed to Atlantic Records and felt like a popular kid cos I was on the same roster as Ed Sheeran, Cardi B, Coldplay, and the Walmart yodelling dude. In 2022 I put out my album 'Friendly Fire' on Atlantic Records which was all about my journey of reconciling my faith in God and my identity as a queer person. I am really proud of the album I made and wouldn't change a thing. Then in 2023 I got dropped. I had COVID at the time the call came through and I laughed. Now I'm independent again, back to my roots, older, wiser, and I don't care so much about trying to be cool or popular. I might title my next album 'Flailing: The Musical'. Glad you're here. Oh yeah my manager will be mad if I don't mention I also write songs with other people and you can just google them but Praying with Kesha, Grow As We Go with Ben Platt, and Heartburn with Wafia are the most celebrated. (My favourite most recently is the song I wrote with Corook called 'Okay Getting Older')
