Nathan Thomas

Nathan began as a writer for others and learnt how venerability and authenticity were key to success in the creative process. His debut album "Still Water" was released in 2020 and was much supported in the UK by the likes of Radio 2 and Jazz FM and then further a field in the States and Japan too. Documenting loss, his own battles with illness, fatherhood and his faith has elevated his songwriting into that venerable and authentic place he constantly strives for. He grew up listening to the likes of Michael McDonald and James Taylor in a household full of soulful music and great songwriting and continues to grow drawing from influences from soul and R&B to folk. He also co-wrote and sang on Rapson's "Heat" released by Defected and continues to create impact through his collaborations in house music. His Neo Soul EP with the incredible Boyan saw some very influential play listing and has set the tone for more to come in 2024. Soulful house, Jazz, Folk and Neo Soul influences continue to make Nathan one to watch as he writes deeper into himself in search for what is most meaningful to him.
