Adonis

Adonis recorded many innovative and influential dance tracks. Born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, Adonis was introduced to music at a young age. He played bass guitar with several jazz and funk bands. October 23, 1985 was a game changer for Adonis because that was the exact date he bought his Jackulator™ aka the Roland TB303 to connect with his Roland TR808. Within a few months Adonis changed the sonic landscape when he created several of the best Chicago house singles of the 1980s, including “We're Rocking Down The House,” "Do It Properly" and “No Way Back” one of House Music's most iconic tracks. Today Adonis is an ICON within the House and Acid House genres. Enjoy the deep House Sounds of Adonis.
