Platinum selling singer songwriter Penny F has co-written international #1’s with powerful female artists like Lana del Rey and has collaborated and featured internationally with some of the the worlds biggest artists, writers & DJs making her a hit songwriter in her own right As an artist Penny has featured on major and underground label releases, inc Ministry of Sound, Simma Black, OFF recordings, Toolroom, Armada, Spinnin, Sink or Swim, Colourize, Go Deeva and Phoenix Music gaining major support from Radio, DJs and a the #1 spot on Beatport. Colaborating with both new and legendary male figures, as an artist and a vocalist, she has been heavily influenced by the great female British electronic artists inc Annie Lennox and Tracy Thorn. The blue-eyed British soul mixed with the linear haunting melodies of the 80's and 90'S have definitely helped shape the tapestry of her vocals. The spoken word house scene was something that also comes naturally to Penny, growing up surrounded by the white plastic houses of suburbia listening to Pet Shop Boys and Madonna, whilst educating herself about true RnB Licks from Mary J Blige. Penny has been recently taking time to write and explore her more experimental side on her own material after writing on the white Isle over the Summer bringing it back down to earth into a well know London studio working with the best producers and engineers in her field and learning from these and adding her own production ideas.
