Biography & Metadata

Sholz is a Nigerian producer, DJ, and cultural curator whose work bridges African music and contemporary culture. Through a multidisciplinary practice spanning sound, community, and the creation of spaces where music becomes a catalyst for connection, he has established himself as a distinctive voice within the global creative landscape. As a producer, Sholz has collaborated with artists including Kanye West, Cordae, 070 Shake, Odumodublvck, Ayra Starr, Theodora and many more. Beyond the studio, his work has also taken him to leading festivals and cultural institutions such as Art Basel Miami, Afro Nation, DLT Malta, Piano people, Homecoming, Red Bull Culture Clash and Tate Modern, where he recently presented a live DJ performance featuring Ife Ogunjobi and Sola Akingbola as part of the Nigeria Modernism exhibition. His commitment to artist development has also seen him play an instrumental role in the growth of emerging talents such as KayCyy (XXL Freshman), Odumodublvck (2025 Headies Award Winner) and Valentino Rose. As a co-founder of NATIVE, one of Africa’s most influential cultural platforms, Sholz has helped build spaces that celebrate the voices, sounds, and stories shaping contemporary African culture. Through his work, he continues to explore new ways of fostering connection through music, community, and cultural exchange.
