Leshley

Leshley Ann Rodriguez Dominican female born November 13, 1997 in Puerto Rico. She moved to Paterson,NJ in 2008 at the age of 11. Though English sometimes got in the way, it didn’t stop her from learning the language via lyrics from her favorite songs. In high school, Leshley was eager to join choir, but was scared to tryout until 11th grade when one morning she woke up and said “Let's do this, I got this!” And she was selected for choir. As she started getting comfortable with her voice, graduation time came and singing was paused for a couple of years. During that time, Leshley graduated HS with a cosmetology license and quickly started working as a makeup and hair stylist after finding a love for the art of cosmetology. Until one of her Friends took her to Ripe studios in Paterson, NJ to prep for the next day because she had an event. Becoming more confident she started experimenting with song writing or freestyling on YouTube type beats. Loving the feeling of creating her own music and singing her thoughts out, Leshley became a regular at RIPE studio and shortly part of the team till this day. On November 13, 2019 Leshley and the RIPE team Released their first single “Breezy Aura” on all streaming platforms. The single is a fun catchy tropics influenced song. The hook will be embedded in your mind from the first listen, catching yourself singing throughout your daily activities. The video was released on November 29th on YouTube.
