Scribe

Alternative progressive rock with an indie heart.  Dynamic bass-driven arrangements, expressive guitar textures, empathetic vocals, and nuanced power drumming move between intimate passages and explosive climaxes. Scribe is bringing emotionally charged power-trio rock that blends intricate musicianship with accessible songwriting.  Musical skill, and acrobatic, yet accessible rock songwriting come together into a sleek and raw power trio!   Influences range from rock to musicals, jam bands, R&B, jazz, folk, and classical music. The result is a sophisticated yet approachable sound, balancing technical precision with raw emotion and memorable hooks. Scribe hails from the hills of Northern California. Fans on multiple occasions have reported experiencing “a calm, yet elated euphoric state, (after experiencing a Scribe show) that takes days to come down from, finally landing you gently after several days”. “A good crisp slice of prog that harks back to the day yet sounds so modern.” Gaz from Deal Radio CIC Scribe is currently playing live shows around Northern California and making cool animated and live band videos. The band has completed their 3rd album “Thaw”. This “dirty dozen”, and third official Scribe release, features brand new material, as well as the best of legacy Scribe tunes reimagined and fully articulated for 2026.
