Ton Snijders

Ton Snijders was born in Lisse in The Netherlands. The family in which he grew up, loved music. Both his parents played the piano and listening to -mainly classical- music was a popular pastime. In 2004 he decided to make a long-lasting dream come true: composing his solo album 'Zwaluw 22', which was released in 2007. In 2010 Snijders' second solo album 'Thuis' was released. In 2014 'Ode to a dream' saw the light of day. An album that consists of instrumental parts which he composed together with Sebastiaan Koolhoven under the name of Lonesome Orchestra. In recent years Snijders has toured mostly with Frank Boeijen. Most of the new Boeijen songs were also recorded and mixed in Snijders’ Teclats studio in Velp. In 2020 - 2025 Snijders crafted his trilogy Solo 1, Solo 2 and Solo 3, which are all neoclassical piano albums.
