In 1985, Rizzolo adopted the alias Brian Ice and released his debut single, "Talking to the Night," under Memory Records. The song became an unexpected success in the Italo disco scene. He followed up with other notable tracks, including "Tokyo" (1986) and "Night Girl" (1987), solidifying his presence in the genre. Throughout his career, Brian Ice has been associated with various record labels such as Discomagic Records, A-Beat-C, and Dave Rodgers Music. Beyond his own performances, Rizzolo has contributed as a songwriter and producer for artists like Tony Esposito and Gloria Gaynor.
