Born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, Kysean has become one of Canada’s most distinctive emerging voices, a multifaceted artist who blends introspection, ambition, and raw energy across every release. He began sharing music on SoundCloud in 2015, quickly gaining traction with several tracks surpassing 100,000 streams. His breakout single “Rockstar” amassed over a quarter million plays, positioning him as a standout in Toronto’s evolving hip-hop and R&B scene. After receiving co-signs from OVO’s Roy Woods, joining him on North American tours, opening for R&B artist Tink in Toronto, and collaborations with other artists such as K.
