Stefano D, was born in Genoa, Italy on May 30, 1984, he is an independent singer-songwriter who merges the tradition of Italian pop with urban sounds and Latin-American influence, singing freely in both Italian and Spanish. His first major milestone came in 2008, when he won the Festival della Canzone Italiana di New York, a recognition that opened the door to deeper connections with the Spanish-speaking world, where his music and collaborations would find fertile ground. Over time he’s released singles that showcase his stylistic range: voglia di me, recorded with the Bulgarian Symphony Orchestra, combines orchestral arrangements with contemporary songwriting; il nostro mare uses a string quintet to explore textured, refined sonorities; Noche Prohibida in 2021 earned him a double nomination at the MOVIENDO Guantanamo VídeoClip Festival and won the Premios MOVIENDO award for Vídeo Más Popular. In 2022 he released ogni giorno è Natale (Every Day is Christmas), a song reaffirming his recurring themes of peace, love, and solidarity.
