Moody Kablawi

In his electrifying one man show, Moody Kablawi sings and raps on top of produced beats, live looping guitar and vocal effects, with a preprogrammed lighting show and visual art. Moody creates hip hop music - uncovering new Trip hop fusions of jazz and World music rhythms; exploring and experimenting new dimensions for Arabic hip hop and pushing the boundaries of hip hop, funk and punk. Moody has faced personal and social challenges from a very young age - as a Palestinian born and raised in Israel, and also living with genetic disease called Nystagmus Horizontal* which limits the vision. Never allowing anything to hold him back, Moody embraced these challenges - music becoming his saviour, his tool for self-expression and his passion. He released his first EP “Mazaji” at 15, at 21 his first debut Album "Shashi" (Screen) and in those days, Moody is working on his new album that came out of the way of life that Moody created dealing with his eyes disease Nystagmus, (which is a condition of involuntary, and due to that movement of the eye, it has been called "dancing eyes"). Moody’s work, together with his unique look, love for knowledge, self-improvement and talent has started to earn the interest of international audiences and industry alike. He took center stage in The Guardian’s report from PMX 2017. His sister & manager Maram is working under the first PMX management mentorship and been managing him since the very start, independently, making a challenge, an opportunity.
