Husayn has built a career around becoming harder to define and easier to recognize. His first breakthrough came independently with “Keif” in 2019, but the sound that introduced him never became a formula. Sharp writing, distinctive delivery, melody and experimentation instead became constants across an increasingly varied catalog. Records including “Stop - Magnolia,” “MESAMA3EEN,” “Blanco” and “Freedom Music: Scene Cypher 03” carried that momentum beyond the underground. “Blanco” reached No. 1 on Spotify’s Egyptian chart, while “Scene Cypher 03” reached No. 2. His 2023 album “SWITCH” widened that world further, moving between aggression, melody and introspection across twelve tracks. “SAME3 EL HAKY,” “HOSS” and “EL ASEMA” captured an artist whose range was becoming difficult to reduce to a single lane. That creative reach has never ended with his own releases. Husayn has written for other artists while shaping records, artists and creative direction through M-Town Studios, the label he founded. Moving between performer, songwriter and builder has placed him on both sides of the music. Projects including “El Waqt El Daye3,” “EL MOQABLA” and “Nazra” pushed further into melody and songwriting without disconnecting from what came before. What remains constant is authorship: the writing, instinct and point of view that make increasingly different records feel unmistakably connected. With each release, the definition of what a Husayn record can be gets wider.
