Kaidi Akinnibi

Instagram.. @Kaidi_Akinnibi London-based singer, saxophonist, guitarist, and composer Kaidi Akinnibi is hard to pin down. Each project reveals a different side of his sound, moving between post-rock, indie, jazz, folk, electronic, and beyond. Raised in South London, he developed his voice amongst some of the front runners to emerge from The Windmill and within the resurgent jazz scene. Just as comfortable moving between instruments as he is between styles, his music blends warm vocals, expressive guitar and high‑energy saxophone, crafting songs that feel intimate yet stadium ready. His versatility has led to collaborations with post-punk disruptors Black Midi, Afrobeat icon Wizkid, boundary-pushing jazz leaders DoomCannon and Blue Lab Beats, and soul sensation Celeste on her chart-topping album 'Not Your Muse'. He also helped shape the sound of What Kinda Music. Blending styles and reshaping the edges of modern music. More recently, he appears on Tom Misch’s album Full Circle on the track “Days of Us” as the project’s only feature.
