Giufà

When a band of Sicilian rockers, adepts of Mediterranean and Balkan music, decided to recreate it to their own recipe, the result was stunning. After conquering major European stages like Paléo Festival, Boomtown, Montreux Jazz and other 150 festivals across Europe the five rascals of Giufà are back with a new mission. Their music now takes a stand against clichés. Their latest anthem, 'Gipsy Mode', is a raw invitation to break free from every stereotype, judgment, and common place, fusing Sicilian tarantella with high-octane Balkan Ska. Expect bandit humor, imagery-rich lyrics dealing with politics and personal freedom, and a relentless desire to tumble under the hot sun of the Balkans or Syracuse. It’s time to switch off the labels and activate your Gipsy Mode.
