Biography & Metadata

Eric Jerardi's latest single "Thorns & Roses" is out now. A Dayton, Ohio–born blues-rock artist whose music lives at the crossroads of soul and storytelling, he has released ten nationally distributed recordings since 1997, blending grit, groove, and grace with an instinct for honest, deeply felt songwriting. His acclaimed 2019 album Occupied, produced by David Z—known for his work with Prince, Etta James, and Jonny Lang—and recorded with the legendary Muscle Shoals rhythm section, earned praise for its depth, emotion, and understated power. Jerardi’s upcoming album, The Game, began with a challenge from a close musical friend: write 12 songs in 12 weeks using a new phrase delivered every Wednesday. What started as a dare became a personal and revealing collection of songs. Produced by Michael James and featuring iconic Muscle Shoals backing vocalists Cindy and Marie, the album is raw, lean, and unfiltered. Beyond the stage, Jerardi welcomes fans to Jerardi’s Little Store in Dayton, where music, signed merchandise, and his curated wine collection come together. His YouTube series, Backroom Blues & Bottles, carries that same spirit through intimate performances and conversations. Whether through a lyric, a guitar note, or a bottle shared across the counter, Eric Jerardi’s work remains rooted in one thing: genuine human connection.
