Biography & Metadata
Formed in Montreal in 1978 by Ivan Doroschuk, Men Without Hats gave the world "Safety Dance" and "Pop Goes the World," songs now heard everywhere from Super Bowl commercials to stadium chants. A Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, Ivan remains the band's songwriter and constant, now joined by his niece Sahara Sloan (keyboards, vocals), Sho Murray (guitar) and Adrian White (drums). The new album "On the Moon," produced by Grammy and Juno winner Brian Howes, has already racked up over three million YouTube views across its first two singles, and a new live album of all the hits is out now.
