Biography & Metadata

The Muster Point Project (TMPP) is the musical vehicle driven by Kevin Franco. Some call it a band of one but there are many folks who help out in this journey - like Geoff Moore, a Canadian novelist has been known to pen lyrics for many TMPP songs. When you hear a really interesting, well written track, that's usually Geoff's words. The balance of the songs mostly tap into some kind of understanding or misunderstanding of everyday life. TMPP's covered betrayal, breakups, death, Nashville waitresses, love, dodging one's own problems, domestic violence and even the joys of riding a bicycle. TMPP's single, Don't Give Me Anything, was named The Undiscovered Gem of the Week on Corus rock stations across Canada. It's a song about ambition’s pitfalls. The music may not be widespread, popular or even remotely familiar to you, but those who have given it a go, seem to appreciate it: "Perhaps the real charm of The Muster Point Project lies in their understatement, their ability to edit a song down to precisely what it needs, no sonic frippery, no flashy showboating, a collection of smart and talented musicians who remember that the song comes first. The song is everything." –Dave Franklin, The Big Takeover "Very impressed, you've developed quite a unique sound which I think could cross over and appeal to many." –Tony Michaeledis Anyways, if you got this far, thanks for listening and be sure to support TMPP by purchasing analog versions of TMPP music on Bandcamp.
