Rudy Julius

Rudy Julius is a Cape Town-based DJ, producer and composer known for his use of unique blend of African inspired sounds. His musical style is inspired by a diverse sound range spanning House, Afro House, Electronic music, Melodic House, Deep House and Disco. A graduate of the Bridges for Music Academys Music MBA, his breakthrough came with "Barr-setta", a collaboration with Umgido that quickly caught the ear of artists like Shimza and Keinemusik, who began featuring it regularly in their sets. Rudy continues to build an international footprint. Having worked with some of the world’s best artists, he is steadily establishing himself as an artist to watch on the global electronic stage. Rudy Julius has shared the stage alongside artists including Avangart Tabldot, Black Coffee, Damian Lazarus, DJ Tennis, Goldfish, Jamiie, Meera, Peggy Gou and many more.
