Biography & Metadata
The Marches are a fearless rock four‑piece from the west of Scotland, carving out their own lane with a sound that fuses emotional intensity, melodic ambition, and razor‑sharp storytelling. Since forming in early 2024, the Glasgow outfit have become one of Scotland’s most compelling new voices, a band fluent in the tension between fragility and force. Their early singles In Comes The Fear and Talking Too Much announced them as a group with something to say and the bite to say it. BBC Radio Scotland support arrived quickly, followed by a fast‑growing grassroots following drawn to their honesty and electric live presence. By 2025, The Marches had stepped into the national spotlight: festival appearances at Pavilion Festival, Prestfest, and Belladrum (Seedlings Stage and Tomatin Bothy Sessions), sold‑out Glasgow shows, and a Double A‑Side (November / Don’t Fool Me Twice) that showcased their evolving sound. The release earned international premieres, national and international press, and praise from BBC Introducing Scotland for “delivering world‑class tunes every single upload.” 2026 marks a new chapter. Their acoustic single She revealed a quieter, intimate side luminous, vulnerable, and emotionally expansive earning support from BBC Introducing Scotland, Amazing Radio UK, Amazing Radio US, and further international press. The Marches return with Faultline, out now, a raw, urgent EP capturing the band at their most fearless and emotionally charged.
