Bandi2 is an emerging band from Houston, Texas, with deep roots in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, Mexico. Specializing in Corridos and Cumbias Bélicas, Bandi2 brings a fresh and authentic sound to the Latin music scene. The band was formed by lead singer and composer Ramón Jauregue, who discovered his passion for music during the 2020 pandemic. Bored and seeking an outlet, Ramón picked up his first guitar—a Christmas gift—and taught himself to play using YouTube tutorials. Starting in the church as a worship band leader, Ramón released a corrido dedicated to serving God. Though corridos weren't widely accepted in religious settings, his unwavering faith kept him grounded. This spiritual journey ultimately led to the creation of Bandi2, which symbolizes his God-given talents and desire to inspire others through music. The band gained momentum with their breakout single "Panda," which attracted a growing fanbase. Through divine intervention, Ramón connected with Yahir Saldivar to record "La Caravana," a viral hit that has amassed over 15 million views on YouTube and 5 million streams on various platforms.
