Biography & Metadata

California based funk magician, Grid Division, has been rockin’ and poppin’ dance floors since his 2016 release “Groove Patrol”. As a regulator of the groove, Grid Division has created a well developed sound that never ceases to evolve and engulf new styles and influences. From hip-hop to glitch-hop, funk to bass, Grid Division’s sound has something every party rockin’ patron can enjoy. Over the last two years, Grid Division has been beaming beats onto dance floors from Canada to the East Coast. In 2017, Grid Division released “The Low Down” on Westwood Recordings, a Canadian based label founded by Nick Middleton of The Funk Hunters. Grid’s track “In Da House” was later picked up by YouTube Premium as the intro music for their show “Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television”. Grid Division’s music has been performed by a number of world renowned artists including Krafty Kuts, iLL.Gates & The Funk Hunters, with appearances on All Good Radio and a number of official Shambhala mixes.
