Kylu

Kylu is an artist from City of San Fernando, Pampanga, whose music is rooted in emotional honesty and self-reflection. He began his journey creating chill hip-hop, genre-blending tracks, gradually shaping a sound that connected through storytelling and relatability. He first gained widespread attention in 2022 with dito ka lang, which entered Spotify PH's Viral 50 and Apple Music Pop Viral Hits, earning over 4.6 million streams. The track was also featured on numerous Spotify playlists including Kalye Hip-Hop and Tatak Pinoy. In 2024, OTW with Yamada once again resonated widely across social media and Spotify, peaking at Top 6 on Spotify PH's Viral 50 and now surpassing 4.8 million streams. As his sound continued to evolve, Kylu explored deeper emotional themes through releases like sana hindi na lang with Matt Wilson—featured on Spotify's OPM Rising. In 2025, he released otw - sad version and panandalian, the latter written for and dedicated to red-flag enjoyers, reflecting stories beyond his own personal experiences. He's also written songs for P-pop groups Alamat and GAT, showcasing his versatility as a songwriter. Stepping into 2026, Kylu marks a new chapter with "andy", a slower, intimate pop track about finding safety and security in love—someone who has quietly been there all along.
