Hugo Oak is a Dutch vocalist, songwriter and producer known for his warm, cinematic sound and emotionally layered songwriting. His music blends atmospheric electronics with soulful, expressive vocals, often stacked into gospel-influenced choirs built entirely from his own voice. He released his debut album Brightly Dark in 2016, marking the start of an artistic journey that has grown increasingly personal, refined and powerful over the years. Alongside his solo work, Hugo is one half of MØHK , a cinematic electronic duo operating at the intersection of club music and emotional storytelling. MØHK released I Can Feel Your Heartbeat on Get Physical Music and followed up with the MØHK EP on Bar25 Music, establishing the project internationally. As Hugo Oak, his most recent releases Notebook and Painting Colours Again (both released on Quetame Records) represent a pivotal moment in his life, closing a heavy period and marking the moment he was able to move forward again, both creatively and personally. With growing international attention, Hugo was recently featured by Rolling Stone UK as one of their New Artists to Watch, underscoring a period of visible growth and momentum. Now entering a new phase, Hugo is undergoing rapid artistic development and is preparing a new run of releases and an expanded live presence, with performances planned in 2026, both as Hugo Oak and with MØHK.
