Vildemo

From the dark forest of the Swedish highlands, I offer you my melodies. They would best be described as viking, nordic and pagan inspired neofolk. Dark, moody, mysterious and a bit eerie — just like the forest that inspired me. I create music as a hobby amongst many. On rainy days I make songs for sleep, meditation, rituals and study. I like to add a little witchy vibe to my sound, a little hint of kulning, chants and sounds from nature. My real name is Sandra Hila and I spend more time listening to music than actually making music. Music is a very important thing in my job. When I hear sounds I transform them into stories or scenarios. I write romantasy novels and I am the author of The Legend of the Mosses series. If witches, magic and 6’5 witch masters with awesome abs is your thing, then check it out! Besides music and writing, I run my own business as a wedding photographer. I have done that since 2014 and I love it! Photography is a big passion. I also create cinematic ASMR videos for YouTube. I love to paint and my art is inspired by the same thing as my music. Nature! I spend a lot of time in the forest. Most days I just hike, but some days I go out to record sounds or to film or photograph. Welcome to my Spotify page! I hope you will enjoy the music. Feel free to connect with me on my social media platforms.
