York Ill, born Kendale Gibson, is from Farmers Blvd. Queens, NYC by way of Albany, GA. York Ill is no rookie to the Hip-Hop game. His direct inspiration to begin Hip-Hop comes from fellow Farmers Blvd. native LL COOL J. He's also quick to give direct flowers to Neighborhood MC Consequence during Kanye West/ Ye 's early run around 2007.
