Hannah Ascher

Hannah Ascher is an 18-year-old, indie pop singer-songwriter from Los Angeles. Her latest single, sofa, is produced by John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, John Mayer, Rachael Yamagata, Jason Mraz, Brett Dennen) and is slated for release on June 22, 2023. The song is an energetic exploration of the choices we face when searching for love. Ascher has worked extensively with Shawn Pander, an Austin-based musician and producer whose music formed the soundtrack of her youth, and co-producer Gabriel Rhodes. Her first album was Making Space, a precocious, folk-pop exploration of promises and shortfalls, female empowerment, and the power of music. Influences include Billie Holliday, Brett Dennen, Fiona Apple, John Mayer, Taylor Swift, Brandi Carlile, Mumford & Sons, Stephen Sanchez, Lizzy McAlpine, and The Head and the Heart.
