Biography & Metadata

Sent was formed by longtime friends Tor Adolfsson and Magnus Eugenson in 2025 when their musical paths finally aligned. After working on a song, drummer and producer Andreas Quincy Dahlback accidentally heard what was going on and encouraged them to do more. He then ended up playing drums on the recordings together with Johan Edin keys, Staffan Johansson guitars, and Ida Sand backing vocals. Sent is new, but all musicians come from a long career in music. Inspiration for the first EP, due to be released in autumn 2026, came from the resurfacing live music scene. After years of playing behind different artists and hearing the same kind of overproduced song released over and over again, without humanity or soul, we decided to stop complaining about it and instead to make music that meant something to us, just an organic vibe that connects with us and hopefully others as well. The process of writing was inspired by the vibe in the studio (Durango recordings in Stockholm) with dust and tons of instruments previously played by masterful musicians. The first release is mainly live takes in the studio along with the rest of the musicians. ”We basically just wrote chords and melodies and brought our friends into the studio and gave them free hands to explore their musicianship, within the loose frames of the songs themselves and our combined musicality. This is what makes the sound. Will the next album sound the same? We don’t know, it depends on who’s playing”
