Benjamin Wa Mambo Jambo

Benjamin wa Mambo jambo (born Benjamin Sixtus Busungu) is a performing and recording artist, sound engineer and also a music producer. Benjamin was born in Tanga, Tanzania on November 11th. Benjamin has experienced different cultures but still stays true to his roots and this is evident in his music and the people he considers his biggest influences musically, which include Doctor Remmy Ongala, Marijani Rajabu, James Dandu and many more. Benjamin started music professionally in 1995, he has been performing and making music and arts since he was in Mtejeta primary school in Mpwapwa Dodoma. Now he has set up a record label called KOKWA , owned by Benjamin wa Mambo Jambo and Kokwa Production Limited.
