Biography & Metadata
Faaris– a Pakistani-American artist born and raised in Austin, TX– has made waves with his fusion of relatable yet witty lyrics and infectiously groovy instrumentation, a sound “weird” enough to fit the Austin brand. Faaris’ 2023 album Change of Scenery refined his core sound and added bigger pop flourishes, like the French Touch-infused “No Going Back” and the future funk of “Clueless,” all while continuing to build on his relatable underdog status. In 2024, Faaris is aiming even higher, appearing on singles alongside greats like Kid Travis and Futuristic, while sharing the stage with acts like Jackie Venson, Abhi the Nomad, and Khary.
