I’m a multi-genre songwriter and composer, dedicated to my craft and am always seeking ways to level up my work lyrically and melodically. I grew up in beautiful Jamaica, where, in addition to the sultry, pulsating beats of Ska, Rock Steady and Calypso, I was exposed to Classical, Gospel, Traditional Christian, R & B, and Country music. All of which I draw on for inspiration. After a career in civil engineering, I embraced the opportunity to follow my musical dreams. Songwriting has always been a dream of mine and so five years ago I decided to follow my dream. I invested in a keyboard and proceeded to teach myself music and the keyboard. I’m still developing my piano skills, but in the process learnt quite a bit of music theory. I enjoy the creative exercise involved in songwriting and am also fascinated with the story-telling aspect of songwriting, especially the challenge of telling a complete and compelling story in three minutes or so. I hope my music makes you think about some aspect of life, but also make you want to dance. Aside from my songwriting, I love gardening and the outdoors, often drawing inspiration for my titles and stories during walks. I live in Atlanta, Georgia, but enjoy worldwide travel with my wife, Sonia, family get-togethers, and am an avid line dancer.
