Biography & Metadata

Senseless Violence, better known as SLVL, is a hard techno producer and DJ from Maastricht, the Netherlands. His kicks hit like a freight train, his melodies are gritty and nasty, and his sets never slow down. He began his career in 2022 and broke through in 2025, when a run of long-awaited releases and his first big headline shows made him one of the genre's most in-demand names. In 2023 he co-founded Altruism Records, a label built for the hardest techno. Its annual night at Complex, the world-famous club in Maastricht, has sold out every edition since it started. Most of his releases were tracks the crowd had been asking for long before they came out: TIMMERCLUB (SLVL Grenade Kick Edit), his edit of the @Vieze Asbak original, S6TP with @KLOFAMA, and in August 2025 The Last Airbender (VIP), whose "Appa Yip Yip" hook became one of the most recognisable moments in hard techno and passed 10 million streams in its first year. Then came SLUSH Anthem with @USH and Barrel Kick. He releases everything himself, one track a month, and the catalogue of unreleased tracks his crowd keeps asking for only gets bigger. In 2026 he went global: the 240km/h Face2Face tour through Hong Kong and Malaysia, a sold-out North American run through Brooklyn and Los Angeles, and shows in Sydney, Buenos Aires and Madrid. Five continents in one year. An album follows in 2027.
