He has racked up over 25M+ streams across his own discography and songwriting catalog. An artist, songwriter, producer, mixer and multi-instrumentalist, Sawyer picked up guitar at 6 and taught himself to record and produce in his parents’ basement in La Crosse, Wisconsin. Now working between Nashville, LA and NYC, his two EPs "WHEREVER U ARE ✭" and "WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN ✭", have built a catalog spanning millions of streams. Behind the scenes, Sawyer’s 41-song songwriting catalog includes Zach Hood’s “Beautiful As You” (8M+), “neon skies” (5M+) and “Middle of Nowhere” (3.6M+). He’s also worked artists like Bryant Barnes, Camylio, Hoodie Allen, Restless Road and Prateek Kuhad. John Waugh of The 1975 plays sax on Sawyer’s “CARS” and “LADY,” while “WHERE DO U GO?” was written with Zhone and Sophie Simmons. On stage, Sawyer has toured North America as guitarist for Zach Hood, playing shows opening for Aidan Bissett and Andy Grammer, while building Sawyer Utah into a live act of his own.
