Dee C'rell

Dee C’rell is a dual national of English and Irish heritage. He is a composer, musician, artist and photographer. He was born in Hackney and grew up in Shoreditch, central London. He began his recording career at an early age as a self-taught musician whilst becoming part of the creative pioneers who established British electronic dance music. 
 Recognised for his virtuosity on piano and his electronic music making practices within recording and performance, he was invited to study at two Universities in the U.K. as a pianist and composer, and subsequently became an academic of music, writing the first paper on the terminology that he coined as, contemporary electro-acoustic jazz. 
 He currently records within multiple contemporary idioms of music, with no focus on genre related terminologies. Many of his compositions combine piano and electronics, solo piano or contemporary electronic music making devices, and his recordings and sound installations are found worldwide in a variety of recorded formats.
