The Pom-Poms are a multifaceted musical and performance-art project formed in 2018 by eternal partners Sam and Kitty Ray. The Pom-Poms believe in the value of the senses in relation to art. Good art should be tactile; music should have a scent, a touch, a taste, a vision. The Pom-Poms are motivated by concept and philosophy over genre, and classify their music as “dumpster”, likening their creative process to dumpster diving.
