Matt and Joanna Black

Calling: Making music to help people find peace and hold on to HOPE. About: Matt and Joanna write and share songs to help people find hope, healing, and purpose through Jesus in the midst of a broken world. Their sound is rooted in warm acoustic guitar and cello, carried by earthy lead vocals and harmonies that feel both pure and human. Some of their songs are like a friend sharing life over coffee, while others draw people’s hearts into worship. Their music is honest, approachable, and rooted in the timeless truths found in the Bible. Their listeners are a mix of believers who want to grow deeper in their faith and those who are wrestling to find meaning and purpose in life, wanting to know if Jesus truly is the answer. If you hunger for music that is real, for songs that will meet you in your struggles, Matt and Joanna are creating music that meets you there, and draws you out of darkness and into the light of Christ.
