DJ Gianix

Born in Sicily, Angelo Giannone (aka DJ Gianix) combined a passion for electronic music and rhythm from a young age. At just fourteen, he debuted on a local radio station mixing live dance music, launching a career built on records and technique. His talent behind the decks led him to dance at historic clubs in the province of Ragusa: he performed as a resident at Castellana Park, the Sheerazade Discoteca, and the Charlie Brown in Grammichele. At the same time, he performed as a guest at iconic venues on the national scene, such as the Pascià Discoteca in Riccione, the Insomnia Discoteca in Ponsacco, the Eccentrica Discoteca in Genoa, and L’Acquafan in Riccione. A desire to delve deeper into music led him to Bologna, where he specialized as a sound engineer and founded Overload Studio. From the very beginning, he collaborated with Radio Bologna International on mixed dance music programs and to liven up evenings in clubs in Bologna and the surrounding province. Today he is actively involved in music production and his songs are available on all digital platforms.
