Biography & Metadata

Latino Perrico (real name Ezeh Kingsley Odinaka) is a visionary Nigerian artist, rapper, and multidisciplinary creative whose work bridges poetry, painting, music, and memory. Born and raised in a Catholic home in southeastern Nigeria, he brings deep spiritual themes and ancestral echoes into the heart of contemporary expression. His debut studio albums — My Art Doesn’t Understand You Too, Lost Boy, and the critically acclaimed The Catholic Boys — explore faith, grief, survival, and inherited tradition through layered lyricism and experimental soundscapes. His short film Fighting Temptations and upcoming anime series Lost Boy showcase his fearless blend of narrative and sound, merging the sacred with the cinematic. Through spoken word, visual art, and storytelling, Latino is building a language for those navigating spiritual identity, cultural complexity, and emotional endurance. Whether he’s painting with acrylic and mosaic, writing verses that feel like scripture, or curating exhibitions inspired by Catholic symbolism and Igbo folklore, he is driven by a singular belief: “Art is survival. Spirit is strategy.” Currently based in Lagos, Nigeria, he continues to create, exhibit, and collaborate across music, visual art, and faith-rooted storytelling.
