UK producer Spective began devouring music at an early age and is influenced by Jazz, Hip-Hop and Soul. Originally a drummer in Metal, Punk and Funk bands, he established himself producing Jazzy Drum & Bass (touted as “The Bristolian Jazzmaster” by Juno Download). More recently, he has returned to producing instrumental Hip-Hop, Lofi and House. He continues to expand his signature mellow but uplifting sound with a penchant for nostalgic pianos and reverb-soaked horns In 2020, he caught the attention of YouTube giant, The Jazz Hop Cafe, and continues to feature with them in numerous compilations: Space Radio, After Midnight, Jazzscape, Midsummer Nights, Coffee To Go!, Christmas Memories, Aliens Are Real!, 3079, Spiritual Reflections He's released with: Chill Select, BLNDR, DQBT Records, The Bootleg Boy, s1x Music, Oiyo Records, Etymology Records, Chilled Cat, Dust Collectors, Brunch Collect, Chill Ride Recs, Tsunami Sounds, Cold Soda, Chill Moon Music, Urban Waves, Groundunder Recordings, Sphere of Hip-Hop, Jazzy Drops, Lofi Cafe He enjoys collaborating and has done so with: v i v, Lo-Fi Tigers, Yours Truly, CC, Dmnnce, RiffRinse, alhivi, saint rumi, KOHEI YOSHII, Nathan Kersey-Wilson, Howiewonder & many more 2026 is shaping up to be a very busy year so please follow to stay updated.
