The Damage

The Damage are an indie rock band from Montreuil, near Paris, formed in 2023 around the songs of British guitarist and songwriter James Rayson. Rooted in the heritage of sixties rock, Britpop and 90s British indie, the band brings James’s songwriting to life with driving bass, soaring guitars and powerful drums. Their debut EP, Looking Glass, released in 2025, captured the raw energy of their early live shows and marked the beginning of the band’s journey. Now entering a new chapter with a new line-up, The Damage are opening up their sound to more melody, atmosphere and emotional depth, while keeping the energy at the heart of their indie rock identity. Recorded this summer at Studio Sunshade, All Up to You is the first release from this new era, due in autumn 2026. More music is already taking shape.
