Biography & Metadata

Born in Guanajuato, Mexico and raised in Tampa, Florida, Chino Pacas is a 19-year-old musica mexicana artist signed to Street Mob who has quickly become one of the fastest-rising voices in música mexicana. In 2023, at just 16 years old, he made history as the youngest Mexican artist ever to enter the Billboard Hot 100 with his viral TikTok hit "El Gordo Trae El Mando" — a milestone that earned him coverage from Billboard, Pitchfork, Variety, Uproxx, and more, and caught the attention of Fuerza Regida's Jesús Ortíz Paz, who signed him to Street Mob Record/ Geffen Records. He has since collaborated with Drake, earned nominations at the Billboard Latin Music Awards and Latin American Music Awards, been named Spotify's Viva Latino Artist to Watch, and amassed nearly 20 million monthly listeners on Spotify. Both of his albums have charted on Billboard — his debut Que Sigan Llegando Las Pacas at #7 on Top Latin Albums and his 2025 sophomore project Cristian at #19 — and he was recently featured in Rolling Stone's Future of Music issue. Most recently, Chino performed at SXSW as part of Rolling Stone's Future of Music showcase and in an intimate partnership with Nike in LA.
