K. Michelle

K. Michelle has built a powerhouse career that cuts across culture, entertainment and business — staking her claim as an artist, entrepreneur, author, executive, actress, tv personality and restaurateur. With 12 million+ social media followers, the Memphis-born multi-threat joined “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” while entering a new era by signing to BBR Music Group/BMG Nashville for her first Country album. A thrilling turn for the former “Love and Hip-Hop” star, the multi-platinum singer-songwriter’s upcoming LP adds to a stacked catalogue that includes 5 consecutive Billboard-charting albums, beginning with 2013’s Rebellious Soul— a #2 debut on Billboard’s 200 that introduced the world to her indomitable spirit, uncompromising candor, and deep sensitivity. Raised in a home where Mary J. Blige and Whitney Houston played alongside the Judds and Lee Ann Womack, she later earned a music scholarship to Florida A&M University thanks to her yodeling talents. K. Michelle reconnected with her roots and released “Jack Daniel’s,” a fiercely personal scorcher merging Country-leaning lyrics with smoldering R&B grooves, followed by “Yodel” a breakneck-paced romp showcasing her virtuosic yodeling skills. With Jesus & Whiskey out now, K. Michelle fully embraces the genre that first shaped her, offering a captivating collection that blends classic Country storytelling with the soulful originality that’s always defined her career.
