Silence Becoming

Silence Becoming is an atmospheric metalcore band from Central Texas that fuses heavy riffs with emotional depth. Formed by Jacob Gillian (vocals) and Skyler McCarthy (drums, vocals), along with the recent additions of Chris McCloskey (bass, vocals) and Oskar Albuja (guitar, vocals) to form the lineup, the band works to create music that connects with those navigating life’s struggles. While their music tackles serious themes, their live shows are anything but. Through their playful stage presence, Silence Becoming aims to create a safe, uplifting space for fans to laugh, connect, and let loose. Their mission is simple: be real, have fun, and offer relief in a chaotic world.
