Fiora

Fiora is a genre-defying songwriter, singer, poet and producer whose work spans electronic music, cinematic, classical and dreampop. Born in Launceston, Tasmania Fiora studied classical voice and violin, earning a Bachelor of Music in Classical Voice from the Queensland Conservatorium. After starting her career as an opera singer she had early success as a film and TV composer before evolving into a global presence in dance and electronic music. As a vocalist and songwriter Fiora has collaborated with Armin van Buuren, Seven Lions, Tensnake, Andy C, Robot Koch and many others. Her songs such as Days to come, Heartbeat Loud, Waiting for the Night, and 6 Degrees have become fan favorites across the EDM and indie electronic worlds. In 2015 she founded 80’s synth wave project Gemini Rising with Tensnake and Lester Mendez, a KCRW favourite, as well as Dreaming of Ghosts with Robot Koch, launching albums in 2019 and appearing on countless film and tv productions. Alongside her growing career as Vocal producer for film, in 2025 Fiora launched her label Louderstar Records, debuting with the self-produced dreampop single “I’m Still Here.” After years collaborating the release marked a creative rebirth rooted in artistic autonomy. Now based between L.A & Tasmania Fiora continues to create and define a sound entirely her own. For 2026 we can expect more synth wave solo releases, new shoegaze - and a musical.
