Jahson The Scientist is a “wordsman” raised in both London and Montserrat (Caribbean) the lyricist’s music is centred in hip hop with afro, UK and soul influences. His lyrics focus on human-ness and human potentialives and he lives every moment onstage, known for his ability to create songs in the moment, his use of word-play and ability to inspire. Named Star of The Week for his No Doubt EP, rounded up in the Best of 2016 with his trio Scattah Brain, and in 2021 Sketches on Duality found themselves No.1 for 3 weeks on Austria's Indie Charts. His solo album "Inner Heights" (2025, 9Star Records) released at Porgy & Bess caught the eye of ORF Kultur Montag, Hörbar.
