GRZECH PIOTROWSKI – Composer, saxophonist, music producer, and arranger. Grzech Piotrowski is an artist who moves fluidly between genres — blending film music, classical, jazz, ethno, roots, and open improvisation into a unique and evocative sound. He is a graduate of the prestigious Department of Jazz and Popular Music at the Academy of Music in Katowice, where he studied saxophone. His musical projects are known for their expansive soundscapes, emotional depth, and a sense of magic — shaped by the harmonious collaboration of extraordinary musical personalities and temperaments. In 2009, he founded the World Orchestra — a visionary project uniting exceptional soloists from the worlds of jazz, classical, ethnic music, and free improvisation. The ensemble features musicians from Europe, Asia, Africa, and both Americas. The World Orchestra transcends borders and conventions. It is a musical journey rich in subtle emotions and atmospheric space. Critics and audiences alike describe its music as “the language of the soul” — a universal expression that resonates across age, faith, culture, and geography. It is a return to the very roots of music: ancient improvisations passed down through generations, long before musical notation existed.
