Mental Exile is the solo project of Damasius Venys, also known as the voice of Future Lied To Us. Deeply inspired by the sound and spirit of the 80s, Mental Exile blends retro synth textures, nostalgic melodies, and cinematic influences. The project creates a warm, dreamlike soundscape where analog tones, driving rhythms, and Damasius’ emotive voice capture the essence of a timeless retro-futuristic era.
