DPR IAN

DPR IAN, also known as Christian Yu, is an Alternative Rock/Pop vocalist, visual director, and producer who plays a central role in shaping DPR’s creative universe. He made his solo debut in October 2020 with ‘So Beautiful’. He was named an “Emerging Artist” by Billboard following the release of his first EP, ‘Moodswings In This Order’ (2021), which also landed in Spotify’s Global Top 10 Chart. His multidisciplinary artistry, spanning music, visuals, and performance has gained recognition worldwide. In 2023, DPR IAN released his third project ‘Dear Insanity…’, featuring the track ‘Don’t Go Insane’, which sparked a viral dance challenge on TikTok. He has since showcased multiple noteworthy cinematic live performances at festivals such as Coachella, Head In The Clouds, Lollapalooza, Sundown Live, and Very Summer. He continued showcasing his distinctive performance style in 2025 with appearances at SUPERPOP (Korea), Head In the Clouds LA, and K-SPARK Vietnam. He begins to marks a new chapter in his artistic journey, distinguishing IAN from his previously introduced characters, MITO and Insanity. Blending alternative rock, indie, and pop, the album delivers a deeply personal narrative shaped by emotion, introspection, and themes of disassociation, reflecting the contrast between childhood innocence and adult truth.
